The Exchange

The game's market lives inside The War Chest. It comes in three layers: moving resources with shipments, trading with other players through Deals, and the instant premium exchange at The Den.

The whole market runs on The War Chest: its level sets how many haulers you have.

Shipments (transport)

A shipment moves resources to any district. Each hauler carries 1000 and travels at 24 min/tile; the trip is a round trip (they go and come back, so the hauler is tied up until it returns). How many haulers you have comes from your War Chest level: it starts at 1 and grows ~18% per level.

You can dispatch a shipment from The War Chest by typing in the destination coordinates, or straight from the map (the district popup) or the district card using the “Send shipment” button: it takes you to The War Chest with the destination already filled in. You can send to any owned district — yours or someone else's, no matter the coalition.

Deals (player-to-player offers)

A Deal is a public offer: “I give X for Y at this rate.” The rate is capped between 0.5× and 2× (no gifting, no fleecing). Whatever you put up stays reserved until someone closes it (fully or partly) or you cancel. You can have up to 20 Deals open at once. The resources travel by shipment between the two districts.

The Den (premium exchange)

The Den is the instant swap with “the house,” at a dynamic rate: the more of a resource the house holds, the cheaper it trades it to you (it's mean-reverting). It charges a 5% fee. It's a premium layer and may be turned off depending on the Nation.
