Coalitions

A coalition is the game's tribe: the crew you organize with, defend each other with, and push toward dominating the Nation.

What it is

It's a group of up to 50 players. It has a name, a tag, a party line (the internal memo) and, optionally, its banner. You get in by invitation or request; invites and requests expire after 7 days.

Roles

  • Boss: the top brass. Holds every right.
  • Fixer: co-leadership. Manages members and delegated tasks.
  • Member: the rank and file.

Permissions

Beyond your role, specific rights get handed out: recruit (invite and approve members), chancellery (diplomacy and editing the platform/banner), blast (mass email to the whole base) and moderate The Backroom (the chat).

Diplomacy

Between coalitions you cut backroom deals: relationships the boss (or a chancellor) sets. They're one-sided and notify the other coalition. There are four: Pact (alliance), Truce (non-aggression), Feud (declared hostility) and No deal (neutral).

How you win the Nation

The game is won by a coalition through Domination: when its 30 best members (by Votes) control 60% of the Nation's districts (neutrals included in the total). The percentage is configurable per Nation (default 60%, between 30% and 100%). There's no clock: you play until Domination. The rule in detail lives in Rules.

The Backroom (chat)

Every coalition has its internal chat in rooms (up to 6). The default room is The Backroom; whoever moderates can create more and restrict them by rank (all members / fixers and leadership / leadership only). Inside there are mentions (@name, which notify), replies quoting a message and reactions with the game's own set (back, groan, fire, laugh, clap, idea). If you get demoted or leave, you lose access to the restricted rooms instantly.
